Face masks gloves hand sanitizer. Oh my is right. These are strange and disturbing times. We are all concerned about the safety of our families and ourselves also.
Don’t stress.
The first rule is don’t stress. It just raises your cortisol level which will then lower your immunity. Who wants that? Not you or me.
Follow the safety guidelines
We know the social distancing rules. We know about face masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves. (No. Mittens don’t quite do the job.)
You know the rules. They’ve been publicized enough. I’m not going to list them here.
Sleep
Get plenty of sleep. Sleeptime is when the body works to heal itself. Don’t shortchange yourself.
Support your immune system
Watch what you put into your body. Eat your veggies and fruit. Have some protein. Drink plenty of warm liquids to help break up any mucus. Take your vitamins.
For heaven’s sake, stop smoking and vaping.
Excercise
Exercise is not a swear word. (I can teach you some swear words but this isn’t the place for it.) Do easy routines. Have 10 minutes free? March in place or go for a short walk.
Know a good bunch of stretches that make your back feel great? Do them now.
Haven’t exercised in a while? Try some chair exercises. You can find them on the internet.
The secret is to keep moving. It helps to boost immunity.
Have faith stay positive
We will get through this. Might not be fun getting there. But we will emerge on the other side when this darn coronavirus is finished. The world may be a bit different and so will we.
